AMOFM counted 19,733 jobless people in June.
Women account for 53.3 percent of the total jobless in Bucharest and of 53.15 percent of the people receiving an unemployment allowance.
However, some 6,697 people do not receive any financial aid.
Around 9,423 unemployed in Bucharest found a job in the first seven months of the year.
The national unemployment rate rose to 6.3 percent in July from 6 percent in June and the number of jobless people increased by 23,632 to 572,562, the maximum level of the past five years and a month.
